We created this series of short videos to share with you the backstage moments of our nature videos. Our filmmakers are experienced hikers. Most of the hard mountain hikes are not recommended for attempting alone because of difficult route and steep climbs but we are doing our best to show you the beauty of nature. And we always have our "faithful partner" with us - our gear! Sometimes we walk up to 12 miles with more than 20 kg professional camera equipment! Our goal is to capture the most beautiful places of the route (and the best views are always at the summit).
Today we would like to show you our setup for shooting the Iverson Railroad and Northwest Timber Trail.

Equipment used: Camera: Sony a7S2 Lens: Canon 11-24mm, Metabones Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter, Ronin S Gimbal

It is a heavy setup, so it's hard to walk with this equipment for a long distance. It's better to use it for short trails. But its main advantages are sharp images, amazing quality, and possibility to shoot in dark places.
